Fusing Deep
July 13-15, 10am-3pm, $750
Inspired by the great fusers we know, Patty Gray and Petra Kaiser and Jane Persico, this three-day intensive course will cover all you need to know to fusing deep. Creating four different projects, learn about loose fibre damming, glass casting, three-dimensional planning, coldworking and kiln programming. Projects include pendant bars, frit bowl, glasss block, and a 3-D table top. Materials included. Lunch provided. No beginners please.

Freestyle Tiffany Style Lampshades
July 27-30, 10am-3pm, $495
Join your fellow glass lovers and create your own unique adaptation to the traditional tiffany patterned shades. Using a styrofoam form, scrap art glass, foil and solder, each person will learn to build a thirteen inch diametre shade made up of all their favourite art glass. No pattern needed. All material included. Beginners welcome!

Advanced Fusing II
August 17-19, 10am-3pm, $525
The true beauty of glass fusing is the ability to create your own unique glass elements to later be used and incorparated in larger pieces. During this course learn and create aperture pours, vitrograph stringer, your own art glass, pattern bars and experience the art of glass combing. Using your original creations, then build a one-of-a-kind 16” -18” piece. All materials included. Lunch provided. No beginners please.

All summer courses require a $75 deposit upon registration. Deposit refundable up to 2 weeks prior to start date. A full refund will be given if course cancelled by Glowing Panes. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions upon registration.

Private Individual or Group Lessons

Can't make a class or workshop? Glowing Panes offers private individual and group classes or workshops. This is a great oppertunity to receive critique and pointers to enhance your stained or fused glass technique or to learn something new.
