1. We don't teach glass cutting or basic skills in our Saturday workshops. You should be able to cut glass reasonably well. Beginners welcome when specified.
2. You must pay in full when you register or provide post-dated cheques for one month prior to the course. If you cancel with reasonable notice, money will be refunded or you will be placed in the next available same subject class.
3. Materials and all tools, are provided and included in the price (as is GST). Bring your lunch or run out for fast food.

To enrol in our workshops online, choose our email link. Include your name, phone number and the course title. Payment options include sending cheques by mail or calling with your Visa or MasterCard information. Your place in the class will be reserved once your payment has been confirmed.

Copper Overlay Silhouettes
June 12, 10am-4pm, $65
Remember that piece of glass you saw that would be a shame to cut up it’s so lovely? Use copper foil overlay to transpose a landscape, abstract or stylized silhouette onto your favourite piece of glass and you won’t have to. Each piece will be framed in a brass ring. Each student will need 1 piece of Art Glass, no larger then 12”x16”.

*Traditional Glass Painting
with Jackie Seymour
June 19, 10am-4pm, $195
Since first learning with Kathy Irwin, Jackie has been captivated by the ornamental and pictorial designs achieved with traditional glass painting. Calligraphy, scroll work and crests have become her specialty. Join her for a fun day of family crest creation. If you have one, great, bring it in, if not, design your own. Materials included. See Jackie’s demo at our art show Sunday, May 9, 1pm.

IEyeball Mania*
Saturday, June 5, 1-2pm, $20
Use our system 96 glass, thinfire paper, and duraboard to create as many fused “eyeballs” as you can on a 6” X 12” surface.

Design Your Own Art Glass*
Saturday, June 12, 1-2pm $40
Using our System 96 glass powders, frit, confetti, and stringers, create your own unique square foot of art glass. Once fired it can be cut and incorporated into another fused or traditional project.

Vitrograph Stringers*
Saturday, June 19, 1-4pm, $25
We will have our stringer pulling rig set up for continuous hot glass fun. Do some of the pulling and take home the loot. System 96 material will be used.

Doohickey Fuse-a-thon*
Saturday, June 26, 1-3pm, $25
Gain access to our Bullseye 90coe scrap and create as many tack fired Doohickeys as you can fit on a square foot piece of duraboard. Great for box lids, picture frames and your mosaic creations.
